Fun Facts
I have a passion to help people of all ages! I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, and dancing. For my birthday a few years ago, I took a hot air balloon ride for the first time and it was an amazing experience.

I work at a middle school in education/colorado/colorado-springs">special education. I love helping students with special needs because it is very rewarding to me.
Experience
I have a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Minor in Exercise Health Promotion and Wellness. I have worked in a middle school as a Resource Paraprofessional in education/colorado/colorado-springs">special education for over nine years! Next, I was in an after-school springs">tutor program through one of the middle schools I worked at, and I helped springs">tutor students several times a week. This year I tutored a friend's middle school daughter at their residence in Language/Literature and Individuals/Societies twice a week.
Approach
Middle school and high school were very difficult for me. I received help from teachers after school, and had a science springs">tutor come to my residence in high school. I studied and did my homework every day but still wouldn't do well on tests. After being in the education field for over nine years, I have gained more knowledge to provide springs">tutoring to students. I am patient, caring, and have a fun personality. Helping students improve with their school work, organization, study skills is my goal.

I tutored a friend's 7th grade daughter in English twice a week at her residence from January 2023 until May 2023.

I helped a friend's 7th grade daughter twice a week at her residence with reading comprehension on a variety of assignments in English and History from January 2023 until May 2023.

Helping her with sentence structure, vocab, writing essays, researching and restating sentences from January 2023 until May 2023.
