The first country I traveled to alone was Costa Rica, chosen by throwing a dart at a world map.

I got my rental car stuck on the side of a mountain in Peru in a snowstorm and had to hike for 3 days to get to civilization..... :)

More than four years ago, I set out on a short five-day solo trip, unaware of the remarkable journey it would become. This adventure not only led me to new and exciting places but also brought me to my beloved new home and a fulfilling career that I cherish deeply.

About Me

At 29 years of age, my 20s were undoubtedly the most memorable and fulfilling period of my life. After college, I took on various jobs to repay my student loans, experiencing a diverse range of professions. I've been a delivery man, dishwasher, cook, bartender, server, landscaper, gardener, stone mason, roofer, machine operator, garbage man, truck driver, tow truck driver, arborist, guitar teacher, street musician, investor, and even a calculus tutor. I explored every possible career path available in my small hometown.

However, everything changed in 2019 when my investment in Tesla unexpectedly and momentarily made me rich. Seizing the opportunity, I embraced a new lifestyle as a full-time traveler, embarking on adventures across Central America, South America, Europe, Egypt, and Asia. Unfortunately, the outbreak of Covid-19 brought unexpected challenges, and I found myself stuck in a foreign country where I had initially planned to stay only briefly. Surprisingly, that country has now become my cherished home - Thailand.

Today, my life has taken on a new trajectory, as I enjoy a well-respected and successful career as a college professor during the day. By night, I flourish as a smart and charismatic freelance teacher. My free time is spent indulging in my passions, riding my motorcycle through the lush jungles, and expressing my creativity by writing music with my guitar.

I have a strong desire to learn new things every day, and it's become a personal goal of mine to discover at least one new piece of knowledge daily. My life reflects how embracing change and pursuing my passions can lead to transformative experiences, and I feel incredibly grateful for the extraordinary journey that has brought me to where I am today.
