I am a former teacher who loves learning. I decided to stay home when I became pregnant with my first child. My family includes me, my husband (youth pastor/EMT), our sweet baby boy, and our pet tortoise. I hope to continue making a difference in the education world through tutoring! I am passionate about reading, crafts, and plants!

I maintained a high GPA and received multiple academic honors throughout the school. My level of accomplishment continued into my teaching career where I received high reviews from my superiors and coworkers. I tutored throughout high school and college before teaching first grade for two years.

Approach

I believe that everyone learns differently and teaching should be catered to each person's individual needs. It's the job of a good teacher to learn their student's needs and use that information to help them grow. Learning is also about fully understanding the material, not just picking the right answers. I hope to help my students create study skills them help be successful.
