About Me

I am a mother of two and have homeschooled both of my children for 5+ years. However, my expertise extends beyond homeschool academics. I was a Classical Languages major, and my experience has allowed me to develop exceptional organizational and study skills.

Experience

I have had the opportunity to work as a Tutor and Learning Coach with students across the country, and I have assisted students of varying ages, backgrounds, and learning abilities. I began my career working with early education and elementary students only and have grown into working with all students from pre-K through adult. I specialize in Mathematics and Reading but have the ability to tutor almost any subject. My goal is to improve individual skill sets while building confidence.

Approach

Through my years of experience, I have discovered that there are several ways to approach learning, and everyone learns differently. I consider this when developing each student's individualized learning plan. I don't give answers; I help you develop the tools necessary to figure out the answer on your own. I believe learning should be fun, so I incorporate as much fun and interaction into my sessions as possible.
