In addition to teaching, I love to be outdoors in all kinds of weather! I can be found hiking, swimming, kayaking, snowshoeing, and gardening all year long.

I am an experienced educator, both as a classroom teacher and as a specialist, with a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching and learning. I love to create a supportive learning environment and provide students with individualized instruction that will help them to reach their highest potential.

Experience

I have been an educator for over 25 years working with students individually and in large and small groups. I am an expert at helping students progress in their skills and building their confidence as they experience the joy of learning.

Approach

For me teaching begins with a relationship. As I get to know students and their unique strengths and needs I can determine what teaching strategies will most effectively help them to meet their goals. I also develop relationships with my students and their families to celebrate who they are and their progress.
