Fun Facts
I am a filmmaker and have made films about Historians and literature. I have mentored people to succeed in Hollywood as a director. I am a very good mentor. I have entered people to Law School and the UCLA Writing program.
About Me
I received my Ph.D. at Bowling Green State I received my degree in American Studies> I have taught online and in college for 15 years. I have taught History, Communication, History of Film, and Cultural Studies.
Experience
I was short-listed for an Academy Award for Howard Zinn: You Can't Be Neutral on Moving Train and have taught for 15 years. It gave me 13 years of teaching various subjects. I went through my BA in history and a Master in Communication. My Ph.D. was in American Studies. When I was teaching I had the opportunity to mentor many different people
Approach
I struggled in school when I was younger they did not recognize dyslexia. It was later that I understood I had a problem and then went on to a Ph.D. I want to help people get past a hump.

I wrote an article called Forgotten History and taught a lot of film history classes.
Literature Tutoring
During my Ph.D. classes, I had to read a lot of books and in addition to complete films about Russell Banks and Nelson Algren so this made me a lover of literature. I was a very good mentor and my strength because I let them find their own vision.
Communication Tutoring
I have taught Communications for 4 years when we look at Public Relations and advertising and commercial and political ads. It was a survey course so it covered many of the sections regarding the media.
History Tutoring
I have made many films about history and my most known film was about the historian Howard Zinn. We have also examined the Black Movement. I am a history scholar and am working on a book on Documentaries and History. I produced a program series about the 20th century and am an American Studies scholar.
AP History Tutoring
I have read many books. As documentary filmmakers, we examine the story and its accuracy. I also wrote an article about history for 4 years which caused me to research various projects and the most challenging was the 20th century. I taught on line and 13 years at the university
