About Me
I graduated from Cuny Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Law. I have been on the Dean’s list for 1 year! I hope to fulfill my passions such as becoming a model and property owner, and help others find their potential as well.
Experience
I have 4 years of experience teaching students in elementary and middle school in NYC as an Assistant Teacher. Over the past 54 years, I have worked with students ages 4-13. Throughout my college education, I had many different types of student teaching experiences ranging from preschool to 8th grade.
Approach
My approach to tutoring and teaching students is to make sure that my students stay engaged. I find that it is important to make learning fun when working with young students. I always loved school and I want my students to feel that same way. When my students come to a tutoring session I want them to enjoy learning and come out of the session feeling proud of themselves for learning something new, or further developing a skill they have been working on. During my 4 years of undergrad I developed study skills and writing skills as a Political Science major. I spent 4 years learning American Politics and history as well as international relations, business law, and campaign election. I did a lot of research and took part in a diplomacy model for an international course. I was on the Dean’s Honor list in 2020 for my academic achievements in Political Science. I have worked as an ESL teacher online for adults between the ages of 22-50 to develop the skills necessary to speak and use english in their daily life. While working, with Aming talker online I was able to help my students understand the basic parts of the English language and how to apply them when they are speaking with other English speakers or just to practice them for future & job purposes.
