Fun Facts

I was born and raised in California for the first 10 years of my life. At age 10 my family and I moved to Terryville Connecticut because of a job opportunity my father had received. At age 15 I moved to Tucson Arizona and haven't left since. I loved to read, write fiction, watch TV, and paint in my free time! My favorite book and movie series of all time is The Hunger Games!

About Me

Hello, my name is Haylei Hofeditz, and I am 19 years old. I am a sophomore currently attending the University of Arizona majoring in English and Education. I am extremely passionate about teaching others in order to help better their education! I hope to be a Literature Professor someday!

Experience

I am currently Tucson Elevate Trampolines Park's only Party and Event Coordinator! Skilled in working with clients to plan unique events from start to finish while proactively managing risks and potential problems. Proven leader with success in creating cohesive, goal-oriented teams. A highly motivated employee with a desire to take on new challenges. Strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills. I work effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.

Approach

When I was younger, I struggled in school as the education system in California compared to Connecticut was vastly different. I was two years behind in school when I moved to Connecticut. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to have a tutor who helped me catch up in school. I would love to give that opportunity to others. How I'd approach tutoring a student is first, I would discus with the student what they struggle with specifically in regard to a subject & focus on improvement in the area
