Fun Fact: Beyond crunching numbers as an engineering student, I deeply love music. Whether playing my favorite tunes on Spotify or attending live concerts, music is my way of hitting all the right notes in life! 🎶
About Me
I am Waylin Fogarty, an industrial engineering student with a robust foundation in corporate environments, 3D CAD modeling, and coding. Currently, I'm pursuing a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering at Texas State University and a minor in Business Administration. My academic journey began at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, where I graduated in 2020.
Experience
My project management skills were gleaned in the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Project (Aug-Dec 2022), where I led a team to create a 3D CAD model in SolidWorks for an industrial vice clamp, optimizing resources and costs. I also contributed to the Access to Clean Water NAE Project (Jan-May 2022), analyzing global water crisis scenarios. As a Program Manager and Educator at Right at School, I designed educational programs and manage a team, fostering a positive learning environment.
Approach
Blending academic excellence with practical, real-world solutions. My approach integrates theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, ensuring that students not only understand concepts but can also apply them effectively. By fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment, I empower students to achieve their full potential and prepare them for the challenges of the math, science, and engineering fields.
