Though it may not look like it at first, I am a huge fan and nerd of many different forms of media. Marvel, DC, Nintendo, and plenty of other big titles. I find that this has kept me in touch with my playful side, and has helped me be a more welcoming person with a sillier and friendlier appearance than average.

I am a graduate student from James Madison High School, San Diego, CA, who has a very calm demeanour and a very patient attitude when it comes to tutoring.

Experience

Having 6 younger siblings, you can imagine that I was asked for help with homework assignments a lot. But where I used to see a little bit of an inconvenience in my day, I now find that I was given opportunities to gain valuable experience in a field of work that can help children be more confident in their ability to succeed in a school setting.

Approach

I often found myself lacking a sort of focus as a kid. Mostly, I would get distracted by mainstream media such as games and movies. However, I managed to utilize that fixation for good, using characters from these forms of media as tools rather than entertainment and forming scenarios to help me better understand the problems I was to solve.
