About Me

I have just graduated with an MA in American History from Lehigh University in eastern Pennsylvania. I have just moved back home to Albuquerque and am currently seeking employment in the education field.

I have tutored for over 10 years as both a volunteer and professional albuquerque">tutor. For the past three and a half years I have worked for an in-home albuquerque">tutoring company in PA.

While albuquerque">tutoring, I try to truly listen to the student. I believe that this is the Achille's Heel of modern-day education--teachers are so busy and overworked that they sometimes do not have the time to truly listen to each student to find out the underlying cause of his or her confusion or struggle. Relating and listening to the student is the most important part; everything comes easy after that.
