I love to explore the outdoors, especially the National Parks. I have two tuxedo cats named Millie and Milo and grew up with all kinds of pets like snakes, rats, lizards, and more.

About Me

I'm from Richmond, Virginia, and have been working in the education and human service field since graduating college in 2019. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology from madison-university">James Madison University and hope to someday finish my Master's degree in Counseling!

Experience

I have worked in schools as an Applied Behavior Analyst's Assistant and as a College Adviser. I have tutored adults in ESL classes for three years. All of these roles furthered my abilities to be a patient, accommodating, and caring teacher. I feel these skills are transferable to whatever topic someone has expertise in, which is why I specialize in Psychology, Reading, Writing, and ESL.

Approach

I believe in the value of meeting people where they're at and figuring out how they learn best. Students deserve to learn in a patient and supportive environment. I want to get to know the student and what aspects of their classes they're struggling with, so that we can collaborate to find strategies that suit them individually.
