I've travelled to a bunch of other countries including Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland. In my free time, I enjoy playing xbox with my brothers or reading books.

About Me

I grew up as an Army brat with a large family. I'm the second oldest of 8 kids so I've had extra practice speaking with younger kids. I really enjoy helping people learn math and realize that it's not as difficult as we make it out to be.

Experience

I've tutored math for over 10 years as a private tutor and the learning center, Mathnasium. I've tutored everything up through Calculus II and have worked with all age groups. I've also received my Flight Instructor certificate, which requires a course in understanding instructing fundamentals.

Approach

I try to find where any gaps in learning are and the preferred styles my student learns by. Learning can be frustrating, so I find ways to reduce that as much as possible as well. I try to be as supportive as possible while helping to playtest with lessons to create actual comprehension instead of memorizing equations so that the lessons stick better.
