About Me
I am a third-year pre-veterinary student majoring in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology (B.S.) and minoring in Music and Global Disease Biology at the University of California-Davis. After my undergraduate education, I plan to attend veterinary school to help me get one step closer to becoming a wildlife veterinarian.
Experience
In high school, I tutored underprivileged children in elementary and middle school in math and STEM as a volunteer for a local non-profit organization, and high school students in math and science as a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honor Society).
Approach
In high school, I had difficulty studying for honors and AP classes. Luckily, many of my teachers back then were able to dedicate their time to helping me achieve my academic goals. To me, tutoring is a way to "pay it forward” after feeling indebted to all my teachers who have helped me succeed.
