I am a wife and mom, and we have been empty nesters for several years. I am seeking non-traditional approaches to utilize my teaching experience.

I enjoy working out, nature, and spoiling my dogs.

I have taught several subjects, and I have worked with various ages.

About Me

I am a teacher who has a passion for seeking ways to make learning fun and/or interesting for the individual learner.

Experience

I have taught Preschool, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. I have been a coach, a nanny, a swim instructor, a group fitness instructor, a team lead in an Optical Department, and a education/indiana/brownsburg">Special Education Teacher.

I enjoy education/indiana/brownsburg">Special Education because I get to individualize lesson plans for students. Also, I have a passion for connecting the learning material to the student on a personal level.

I prefer a non-traditional approach to teaching in small group settings or on one.

Approach

I understand learning can be boring and treacherous. I strive to connect the learning material with the individual learner, so that the material carries meaning to the learner. I enjoy the challenge of finding innovative methods to make learning interesting for every learner.
