One of my favorite things is learning. I am always at my computer and my family always asks me, "Are you tutoring"? Not all the time. I am a lifelong learner and when something piques my interest I want to know about it.

About Me

I am a retired Administrator from the City of Philadelphia. I retired after 39 1/2 years and after a year of doing nothing, I decided I wanted to give back in some way, so I began tutoring. My first contract was with VIPKid in 2017 and that was the start of a very rewarding opportunity for me. For enjoyment, I like working on computers and researching information. Learning is my part-time hobby. I'm patient, dependable, and energetic. I love to laugh and make learning fun as it should be.  I will guarantee professionalism, dedication, and excellent teaching. I love engaging my students in verbal activities as well as written and reading activities. With my joy and love for teaching children, your child will excel in every way!

Hello, I'm Sharon Sanders. I worked for the City of Philadelphia for over 39 years and retired in October 2013. After a very rewarding career, I decided that I wanted to give back or do something with children. Approach

My approach is to build a relationship with my students which will provide them with the level of support they need to do better in life. If as a teacher/mentor, you can't develop a relationship with your students, it will decrease their learning capabilities. Students learn when they feel a sense that someone cares. I mean genuinely.
