Fun Facts

I enjoy watching Kdrama and listening to Kpop. Reading (Bible = fave book) and writing are my all-time favourite things to do. I also enjoy hiking, biking, and boxing. Additionally, I love playing sports - basketball, volleyball, soccer, and tennis.

About Me

I am currently working on my third master's at Boston University Medical Campus. I have been tutoring since I was in 7th grade. It has just been a gift from God to break down difficult concepts in a way that scholars can grasp. I taught for about three years at a charter school in Nashville, Tennessee and loved it! I hope to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology by the Fall Semester of this year.

Experience

I have been tutoring since 7th grade and this has helped hone my teaching skills. I adapt my style based on each scholar I have; one way of instructing does not work for every individual. I learn from my scholars as much as they learn from me. We help each other be confident in our academics which we will use to help us in our career goals.

Approach

Each scholar is an individual and so I get to know them in order to help them in a way that works for them. It helps each person to develop confidence in their abilities and helps them accept each challenge given to them. Encouragement and clear directions really drive home success.
