Fun Facts

I am greatly interested in plants and plant biology, and I'll read almost any book I can get my hands on. I adore creative writing and have participated in many writing workshops. I try to find inspiration in the small things: a walk in the park, a meeting with an old friend, or flowers growing on the side of the highway.

About Me

I am a seasoned tutor and certified ESL teacher who graduated from lawrence-college">Sarah Lawrence College. I plan on returning to school for my master's in botany.

Experience

I have over four years of experience as both a tutor and teacher in a variety of subjects. I teach all age groups and all levels of the subjects I teach and have experience both in-person and online.

Approach

When tutoring or teaching, the most important aspect is that the lessons are student-centered. I find that asking the student what they feel is helping them and getting direct feedback is the best way to keep students engaged in the material especially when relating subjects to their areas of interest.
