About Me

I recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's in Population Health and a minor in Chemistry. I am currently in my gap year applying to medical schools!

Experience

I tutored students once a week in high school in Chemistry and Biology. In college, I worked as a Peer Learning Facilitator for General Chemistry 1 and 2. I created lesson plans for office hours [remote and in-person] and held exam help sessions for 20+ students throughout the semester

Approach

I try my best to focus on ensuring that students are truly understanding the material rather than rote memorization. I often ask students questions to make sure that they are engaged and actively participating in their learning. I relate difficult topics like stoichiometry to analogies and encourage students to ask questions throughout the sessions.
