Experience
I received my Missouri teacher certification in 2001. My certified areas are K-12 Spanish and ESL. In 2012, I obtained my Masters Degree in K-12 Reading& Literacy. I have worked with students ranging from preschool to adults. I have been in preschools and public schools, tutoring in person and remote settings.
Approach
I have chosen teaching as my profession because I love imparting knowledge. Seeing the look on someone’s face makes me extremely happy when I know they have mastered a concept. My intrinsic motivation has led me toward my Bachelor of Science in Spanish, my certification as an ESL instructor, and now my Master of Science in Literacy. My goal is not to teach students what to think but how to feel. I will give my students the means to think critically about an issue and formulate their own opinions
