Fun Facts

I love lacrosse! In high school, I played girls lacrosse for two years. When I had to relocate, I was devastated to find out there was no girls team, so I played for the boys! I was the only girl on an all boys lacrosse team! I have been involved with the performing arts since I was 10.

About Me

I am a Junior at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. I graduated from Lynn English High School with a cumulative GPA of 3.78. At Emmanuel, I am double majoring in Secondary Education and English Literature. When I graduate I hope to be an inspirational English teacher who has a great impact on children's futures.

Experience

In high school, I tutored middle and elementary school children. Being an education major, I have the opportunity to volunteer at local after-school programs and help children of all ages. I believe education is the key to leading a successful life and I love being able to be a part of the building of a child's future.I have completed two pre-practicum experiences in high schools in MA.

Approach

I hope to, one day, be the teacher that changes a child's entire perspective on learning. When I was younger, I had many teachers like this. Those teachers were the people who led me to making the decision to become a teacher myself.
