Fun Facts

I'm a runner and regularly attend several local running groups. If you see me running the streets of Sacramento, no you didn't. I had my first international travel experience last year when I traveled to Vietnam. I love challenging myself with different types of athletic events. I've run 10Ks, a half marathon, and several Spartan races.

About Me

I am a former elementary educator, who taught for seven years, ranging from Grades 1st-3rd and 5th. I taught fully remotely from March 2020-March 2021, then hybrid from March 2021-May 2021.

Experience

Being a former elementary school teacher, I have seven years of experience teaching anywhere from 25 to 35 students in a self-contained classroom. I've also tutored students after school, online, and taught summer school sessions.

Approach

I strongly believe that every student is capable of learning, with the right approach. Making personal connections and getting to know students as individuals is also necessary for optimal student growth.
