Two passions that I love are public speaking and writing poetry. Additionally, in my spare time I love to go kayaking and horseback riding.

About Me

I have several years of experience working as a writer, reporter and editor for several online and print publications. I am a lifetime member of Pi Sigma Alpha (political honor society). In addition, I have spoken in university and symposium settings. I love to motivate, teach and encourage others to think out of the box while initiating a positive mindset. I believe in having an Attitude of Gratitude. Lastly, I hold a BA in Broadcast Journalism from New York University and an MA in National Security Affairs/Cyber Security Policy. Experience

As a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, I have had the opportunity to mentor, teach students how to increase their GPA, improve study habits, improve reading and writing comprehension and grammatical skills, and how to write a comprehensive research paper with proper editing and syntax.

Approach

I believe in the Socratic method, to always share dialogue between teacher and student. This has been a more effective strategy than teaching the lesson directly as a lecture. I also believe in always giving feedback to students so they can learn effectively in a positive manner.
