One of my favorite hobbies is reading! I love animals, especially my cat Raja and my dog Maya. I love going to the beach and enjoying the sunshine!

I have a BA in Psychology from West Chester University of PA. I love working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
Experience
I have taught in various settings. I have helped with homework or supporting a toddler’s development as a nanny. I have worked as a teaching assistant in a Kindergarten classroom and toddler classrooms. Additionally, I have taught Pre-K and toddlers throughout the last ten years.

I believe in meeting kids where they are, adjusting lessons to fit their individual needs, and building their confidence.

Psychology
Reading Tutoring
I have worked in Kindergarten classrooms learning different activities and approaches to teaching young children how to read. I have also taught Pre-Kindergarten. Many of my students went into Kindergarten with strong reading skills and knowledge of sight words.
Writing Tutoring
I have taught writing in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten using the Handwriting without Tears curriculum. Additionally, I have worked with students on understanding proper sentence structure, punctuation, and spelling.
