I love all things that deal with stocks and crypto! I an ultra San Antonio Spurs fan! I play a lot of basketball and coach the varsity girls' basketball team. I live and breathe country music and supervise a country two-step dance club as well.

About Me

I have my bachelor's degree in math and my master's in engineering systems from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. I always loved math growing up as a military kid and was lucky to have an incredible math teacher all through my tiny high school. That made a really big impact on me which led me to teach math now as well.

Experience

I was a math tutor in college for calculus and now teach Geometry and Algebra II. I have office hours twice a week where I meet with students individually to assist them with their questions or catch them up with missing work etc. Also, I have implemented small group interventions for students who were behind mathematically.

Approach

Practice makes perfect. Math is like a muscle. The more you use the better and more comfortable you are with it. I think examples are the best alongside strong definitions. Repetition is key where the student should strive to carry the cognitive load.
