Fun Facts

I love rowing on the Schuykill River and teaching yoga to rowers and students. I have five siblings and have close relationships with my nieces and nephews. I also speak Italian and working toward becoming an Italian citizen.

About Me

I am a Financial Account Administrator who loves math and tutoring young children. I also teach yoga to children and adult athletes. I'm also a student of the Italian language and would love to live in Italy and teach children the English language in the future.

Experience

As a substitute teacher in Philadelphia private and public schools, I execute lesson plans for teachers as well as lead small group sessions in math and reading. I also lead yoga classes for children and teach private lessons to adults with disabilities. This requires a lot of patience and is very rewarding to watch students make progress and feel good.

Approach

While I was going to school I also tutored my younger brothers and helped them with their homework when I was finished mine. I continue to learn everyday through my yoga practice, Italian studies and substitute teaching. I encourage students to try and not be afraid to make mistakes.
