I'm a combination of a city girl and a country girl. I love the great outdoors and the city life too. Of course, I'm a big dog and cat lover too. All year, I follow sports as a big fan and enjoy watching games with friends and family.

About Me

I am currently an Elementary School teacher in Maricopa County. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and an M.A. Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. I've been a public school teachers for many years. My classroom and small group instruction provide an environment for students to master skills and increase their depth of knowledge while receiving enrichment. My goal is for every student to increase academic and social growth. My students feel comfortable, enjoy my sense of humor as we meet the high expectations of personal goals and the AZ State Standards and curriculum.

Experience

My experience includes a career as a public school teacher in Arizona. It is common practice to participate in afterschool tutoring programs. Approach

As a teacher, I understand that students in small groups or individual 0ne-on One instruction are often very capable. Oftentimes there are gaps in their learning which prohibit their academic success. By filling-in these skill gaps through different methods, students often beginning to close the gaps. There are various methods and approaches depending on the student's academic baseline. When students get involved in their own learning and find success, they quickly become motivated by their meas
