Fun Facts

When I was in middle school I took the time to memorize over 500 digits of pi (my initially goal was 314 digits, but I couldn't resist the urge to memorize some more).

About Me

I am currently an undergraduate student at UC San Diego pursuing a major in Global Health and a minor in Biology. I am working towards attending graduate school in biostatistics and epidemiology. In addition to working hard as a student, I am involved in the global health community at my school and am dedicated into promoting healthy life practices. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, and spending time outdoors.

Experience

I have past experience as a freelance tutor during high school. I specialized in math, physics, and statistics. While not professionally, I dedicate a lot of time at UCSD to helping my peers understand concepts in chemistry and biology.

Approach

As a current undergraduate student, I have developed creative study methods and habits that have helped me learn information more efficiently. My approach focuses less on simply reiterating what the professor would say in class, and is instead focused on teaching specific patterns and techniques that are applicable to learning in almost any subject (especially in STEM). I am determined to be flexible and work with students to help them achieve their goals.
