I love reading! I really enjoying going to concerts and being at the beach. I am originally from Omaha, NE.

About Me

I am a middle school English Language Arts teacher. I have been teaching for 4 years. I was department chair for the past two years at my school as well. I got my bachelor and master degree from the University of South Carolina.

Experience

I ran the after-school tutoring program this past school year at my middle school. Also during college I tutored at the academic center for athletes at the University of South Carolina.

Approach

I believe reading and writing can be seen as burden to children, but it is the key to everything. I love helping students find their voice through a variety of novels and writings.
