One thing about me is that I am a very creative person. I love being able generate ideas and see them come to life. I also enjoy spending my free time reading or being outdoors.

I am a junior at charlotte">UNC Charlotte studying Elementary Education with a minor in reading education.

Experience

As a member of Kappa Delta Phi Honors Society I have tutored students in reading fluency at various schools in the surrounding district. I also am a volunteer tutor for Helping Education.

Approach

As a future educator, I think it is important to highlight growth throughout the learning process. Using mistakes as opportunities to grow from. I also well rounded approach to literacy, providing instruction on phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
