Fun Facts
I have been called a "human encyclopedia" with "lectures in my pocket". I will ramble on (very informative) tangents if not stopped.
About Me
I consider myself a scholar with mathematics as my trade. I have been studying it my whole life, as well as other subjects that "pique my interest"; such as biology, taxonomy, languages, etc. I love learning and I love helping others learn! I am always eager to share what I know and what excites me; in hopes that others can learn and appreciates things they never thought they could.
Experience
As a life-long student, I have a wide-breadth of experience and knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. I have honed a sharp eye with a critical attention to detail; a valued skill that has helped me learn so much and come as far as I have now. I have tutored many students during my academic career (from freelance tutoring to afterschool centers), and even taught a section of college level Algebra.
Approach
I always remember my experiences as a student, and I use what I know to help my students. I never forget how I felt when things were confusing, and I make sure to use what I have been through to help others. I often like to use analogies to make the learning more relatable and accessible (as these "hard topics" are truly not as scary as we think).
