About Me

I am a cybersecurity professional and very passionate about the field of technology. I am pursing a number of certifications as part of my commitment to continuous learning in an ever-changing industry. My ultimate goal is to become a Chief Security Officer and to be well versed in all things technology.

Experience

Cybersecurity professional with 2+ years of experience in network security, threat & vulnerability
management, cloud infrastructure, and incident response. I have been tutoring students in computers, coding, and cybersecurity, leading my students to a better understanding of the concepts and assisting them to successful completion of their courses. Most of my professional and educational career has been teaching a lot technical concepts to people of all different skill sets.

Approach

As a child, I struggled with ADHD and dyslexia so I can understand the challenges that can come with learning. My approach is to keep engagement high with my students, relating materials to personal life experiences or interests. I have a knack for explaining complex technical concepts in non-technical terms. It is awesome to see the light bulb click in a student's mind!
