Fun Facts
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and listening to music. Coloring is one of my favorite ways to practice self-care. As the middle child in my family, with an older sister and a younger brother, I'm always eager to learn and develop my leadership skills!
About Me
I am a senior Nursing major and Child Development minor at Texas Christian University (TCU). I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I was valedictorian of my graduating class, as well as a member of the National Honor Society (NHS). I love being able to help people, so tutoring is something I want to be involved with!
Experience
As a child development minor, I had the opportunity to participate in student teaching, where I taught at a preschool once a week for a semester. I was also involved with Frogs for Autism, an organization dedicated to supporting elementary students with autism through activities like playing games, reading, coloring, and building meaningful connections.
Approach
As a child, I had a speech impediment and had to attend tutoring to work on my lisp. At the time, I felt embarrassed about needing help, but as I grew older, I realized the significant impact it had on my life. Thanks to the tutoring, my lisp was corrected, and now, I want to give back and help others in the same way.
