I love music; I was in a band until college and am looking to get back into it. I played percussion instruments and marched as a bass drum!

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Ohio University! Post-graduating, I moved back to Chicago after growing up here for 6 years:)

Experience

I was an academic coach in college, so I was more focused on working with people to strengthen study skills, acclimating to college, professional email writing, compiling resources, schedule making, etc. Although, many of my students would ask me to help with essay writing and reading comprehension as well. Additionally, I've always worked hard to achieve good grades and am confident that I could help someone else succeed!

Approach

I want to approach a session with a deep understanding that everyone has personal learning styles. I've never believed there was one way to learn something and, unfortunately, our school system can be set up that way. I like to get to know who I'm working with, and their motivations, and then form a personalized approach for them.
