I'm a 22-year-old university student who goes to FIU. I'm a first Generation who has a passion for becoming an early childhood educator.
Experience
I was a substitute teacher and paraprofessional working with Kelly Education in Miami-Dade County for about 2 years. I have taught in a classroom from grades pre-k to middle school.
Approach
I wanted to become an educator because my teachers were more than just educators, they were my mentors and support system. I want to become a teacher that makes an impact on the students' lives.

I've taken multiple art classes and I enjoyed it every time. Art is something that people that have different perspectives and thinking. Art is something that can be hands-on or something that we thought in the top of our heads. We are all artists.

I've helped many students with their homework. I know homework is not everyone's favorite, but it can really help understand the lesson and concept that we are being taught. I would consider myself to be a patient person that is willing to help anyone with the struggles they have with their homework.

Reading is one of my favorite hobbies, not only that but I also helped students with reading disabilities. Reading wasn't always my strenght growing up, but my interest in reading has sky rocketed.

I've helped students with their writing quite often. I can help with how to spell words, how to write the words and make students be comfortable and confident when they are writing.
