One super random fact about me is that I have been cutting hair for around 8 years!! It started with me watching a bunch of YouTube tutorials, then some brave friends letting me practice on them...and now I am a self-taught barber with lots of experience!

About Me

I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, but I am also pre-med and currently in my gap year! I'm currently studying for the MCAT, so we'll have lots in common and can talk about study techniques.

Experience

Throughout my academic journey, I've gained some valuable tutoring experience in different settings. I worked as a peer mentor in chemistry at UO after completing the course, leading Zoom breakout rooms and helping students with the course material. I also tutored at a Vietnamese private club in high school, where I helped kids on the weekends, helping them improve their academic skills in math and science.

Approach

I believe that everyone has a specific learning style that works best for them, and my job is to figure out what that is! Whether they learn better visually, hands-on, or through discussion, I adapt my approach to help them engage with the material and build confidence in their abilities.
