I love to play the Ukulele and music in general! You'll often find me listening to live music or enjoying a peaceful hike. In 2019 I founded South Valley Sound, a music production company specializing in day-long music festivals.

About Me

I love problem solving and people's stories! I'm a proud Oregon State University alumni with a degree in science/oregon/portland">Computer Science. I have hands-on experience with C, C++, Python, and Ruby. These experiences give me an understanding of how computers and coding languages work. I've also spent my academic career studying reading and writing to better communicate my knowledge.

My technical knowledge of software and computers is accompanied by a minor in Organizational Leadership. Through it, I’ve gained skills in communication and explanation of technical subjects.

As an entrepreneur, hustling and working hard is second nature. A lot of my time is spent marketing and promoting events remotely. Due to the nature of South Valley Sound, I’m used to following through with clients and working with them on their schedules.

Experience

As an undergrad at Oregon State University I led multiple study groups for my peers. The topics ranged from science/oregon/portland">computer science and math, to business and writing. I was also very active in online university communities to help others with projects. I enjoy helping others learn, and believe working together is often the best way to ingrain knowledge.

Approach

While in grade school I had difficulties reading and spelling, falling behind my peers. I was strong in math and STEM subjects, and often hide my poor subjects behind my strengths. After working with a tutor on reading I was able to get back to grade level.

I believe it's important to be a well rounded student and focus on the areas you struggle. However, I know how students feel when they don't want to focus on areas of weakness. That's why my approach is to help students at their own pace whi
