About Me

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the central-florida">University of Central Florida but has always had a strong passion for teaching. Throughout my career, I focused on scientific research, design, and multi-functional projects within the Mechanical and Aerospace departments. In my free time, she enjoys playing the Ukulele, assembling LEGO structures, trying new food, and travelling around Spain.

Experience

Early on, I joined the STEM tutoring program at UCF and MDC where I tutored courses like Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. As time progressed, I tutored K-12/College STEM courses within a classroom and online

Approach

As a teacher, I aim for students to build autonomy. We begin with a provocation activity that fits the concepts. This activity is a good way to get students thinking, brainstorming, and sharing ideas. Based on the students' feedback, we link their answers to the concept of the unit and begin a mini-lesson to provide theoretical knowledge. Then, a group practice example to apply the theory. After practice, I guide the student to attempt to answer the following question on his/her own by asking qu
