Fun Facts

Two things about me are that I love music and trying new foods. My favorite genres are alternative R&B and pop. My love for food started in college when I met people from different cultures and tried their cooking. Still have a hard time cooking it myself though lol.

About Me

I am a graduate of Berea College where I majored in Business Administration. After college, I moved from Cleveland, OH to Portsmouth, VA. Right now I am working as a hostess and would love to be able to continue helping students through their coursework, even though I've graduated.

Experience

I worked as a Teaching Assistant for Berea College's Business/Economics Department where I helped students with their Accounting, Financial Management, and Marketing assignments. In my 3rd year as a TA, I was promoted to Student Supervisor.

Approach

I like to work backwards and find out where the students began struggling. I want to be able to make the content relatable, as that's how I found students retain information better. I pride myself on being able to explain techniques to students whether it be visually, verbally or audibly (whichever works for them).
