About Me
I graduated from Ashford University in 2016 with my bachelor's degree in education. I live in Central Pennsylvania. I love to go hiking and read. I am a mother of 3. I have a 15-year-old daughter who is currently practising with getting her driver's license and plays softball. 11 year an 11-year-old who loves to play music, she plays the clarinet and plays soccer. 7-year-old who loves to read, do puzzles and is in gymnastics. I have 2 dogs (beagles) Oakley, 6 and Barkley, 3.

Experience
I graduated from Ashford university in 2016 with my bachelor's degree in education. I had become a substitute teacher working with students in public schools k-12. I had pursued my degree into masters as my goal had been to become a principal. My passion changed once I began working with education/pennsylvania/philadelphia">special education, I decided to continue my education in receiving my master's in education/pennsylvania/philadelphia">special education. I enjoy meeting with families and students, ensuring that students are getting the best out of
Approach
When I was in elementary school in the 90s, students who experienced learning disabilities were not recognized. While we were placed in small group learning, IEPs were not exactly a priority. I felt as if no one helped me through my struggles. It was almost like I had fallen through the cracks.
A teacher who I had become close to and who is still my friend, had scheduled 1:1 tutoring lessons during her teacher prep and lunch to ensure I was getting the best out of my education
