Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I am actually in the process of learning ASL. Sign language has been a big passion of mine to learn and for about 2 months now I have been getting taught the language!

About Me

I am a social work major at La Salle University! I recently graduated with my Associate in Applied Sciences of Criminal Justice from the Community College of Philadelphia! I strive to aid the younger generations and bring out the best in them! I am currently a mentor at One Day At A Time; an organization that focuses on getting back into the community and giving resources to youth and families in need!

Experience

I have been a paid childcare provider for about 3 years now but my knowledge of children extends way back to me being 1 of five children! I have worked with kids of all ages and also children with special needs. As I mentioned I am also a mentor for the youth in the organization ODAT (One Dat At a Time).

Approach

Learning is not about getting it the fastest! It’s about ensuring that one is retaining the information and understanding the methods they are using. We all learn differently and sometimes it’s harder for others to find their way of learning but harder does not mean impossible! We all have our own strengths and to find them and elevate them is key!
