About Me

Hi! My name is Katie and I just graduated this spring with my bachelor's in Biology with a minor in nutrition at GCU in Arizona. I am currently in my gap year gaining clinical experience as I am pursuing a career as a physician assistant.

Experience

I was a National Honors Society member in high school and tutored elementary and middle school students during my free time. I have some experience tutoring college-level students in biology-related courses.

Approach

I focus a lot on establishing good study habits and time management skills for students as a lack of those things can cause a subject to be harder than it looks. I also like to practice active recall on courses that require lots of memorization and work on solving practice problems or test questions to help students prepare for exams and quizzes.
