I'm not sure how fun of a fact this is, but I love movies. Old movies, new movies, independent art house movies, Hollywood slop movies, I love them all and I could talk about them infinitely. Save yourself and don't bring them up.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Maryland Institute College of Art, doing freelance screenwriting while I figure out stable employment post-college. I hope that I'll be able to return to school in the next couple of years so I can get my Masters as well.

Experience

I am a recent graduate from Maryland Institute College of Art. I was often called upon by my colleagues in high school and college to proofread their papers and sometimes even teach them how to write a paper from the ground up. Now that has translated to my professional life, where I've done several projects editing other people's work. This has given me experience in talking to people meaningfully about how they read and write.

Approach

I think that children are congenitally disposed to want to do well in school and want to learn. They are curious, they are desperate to please, and they are brighter than we give them credit for. I think it's important to meet a student at their level and not disrespect their intelligence. Throughout my life, my favorite teachers have been those that foster a relaxed environment that encourages student input. This way the student is engaged and the teacher can better direct their instruction
