I love collecting rocks, this has been a hobby of mine since I was 5 years old. I’ve collected approximately 200 rocks by now.

About Me

I’m a second-year master of public health student with 2 semesters left. My passion for teaching others math and writing started at a very young age, as I fell in love with tutoring at the age of ten. Since then, I have helped students from elementary to college ages.

Experience

As a tutor of roughly 8 years, I’ve had the chance to see hundreds of people prevail in subjects they once struggled with. I craft individualized learning plans based on what each student has problems with. Treating first sessions like intake sessions to see where a student resides in their learning process truly makes a huge difference.

Approach

As a high school student, I struggled with pre-calculus due to it being combined with trigonometry. My teacher conducted study sessions from 6 pm to 8 pm just to ensure that I and those like me understood her coursework. Due to her approach and individualized teaching, I received a B+ while only being points away from an A- which reinforced my drive for wanting to do so for others.
