About Me

I am a CSUN graduate and am currently in their prerequisite Communication Disorders program to apply for their Speech and Language Pathology graduate program. I love playing video games, reading, working out, and playing tennis. My dream is to work as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the education/california/los-angeles">special education community.

Experience

I have been working in schools for over 6 years. Throughout these 6 years, I have worked as an instructional aide, speech paraeducator, substitute teacher, online tutor, and summer school teacher. The majority of my experience is working with education/california/los-angeles">special education students. I have worked with ages ranging from 3 years old to 19 years old with a variety of disabilities.

Approach

I approach tutoring with patience, understanding, and kindness. As a child, I always felt as though no one had the patience to help me understand the material that I was having difficulty absorbing. Therefore, I try to approach every student with the level of patience and kindness that I needed as a kid. I also try to understand what learning approach fits best for each student.
