Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learned about me is that I love the colour blue. Looking at the colour blue makes me happy. My closet is full of blue shirts. In every room of my house, I have painted some part of it blue.

About Me

I graduated with a Bachelor of business accounting in 1994 from Western New Mexico University. My GPA was 3.8 in my major of accounting. My first job as an Accountant was with Phelps Dodge Mining Company. I have worked in the Accounting field for more than 20 years. I did take a break to become a kindergarten teacher and I also taught high school. This made me realize how much I love teaching!

Experience

My teaching experience consists of teaching 5-year students and high school-age students. I taught Microsoft Office Accounting and News Media. This is where I realized that I love teaching. I have also taught English to Chinese adults and children.

Approach

I have realized through teaching different ages that all students learn differently. I was able to adjust my teaching to accommodate each student's learning.
