One passion of mine is competitive sports and I love Basketball & Pickleball! Any time I have a chance, you can find me playing or teaching sports. I am the youngest of 4 and I am a proud Philadelphian all day long! Anything that has to do with Philly I am all for it!

About Me

I am a 4th grade teacher in the Northern section of Philadelphia and I enjoy coaching and officiating youth sports. I am a graduate of West Chester University and The phoenix">University of Phoenix. I have taught math at the elementary to high school levels for the past two decades.

Experience

As a member of the National Honor Society, I had the opportunity to tutor students from 5th to 9th grade on how to be successful on diagnostic exams. I was eager to work with the youth after college so I led tutoring sessions for the children on my basketball team when I started coaching at MCSCS in Philadelphia.

Approach

As a child, I was great in math but didn’t enjoy reading until my English teacher taught me how to be successful during reading and respond to questions. I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. I feel the need to pass on the studying skills that were taught to me to this net group of learners.
