Hello my name is Malika I’m 23 and I’m from Indianapolis Indiana, Including me I have a family of 9 my parents came to America in the year 2000 they are from Niger 🇳🇪 I speak 3 other languages other than English and I’m excited about tutoring

About Me

I currently attend Ivy Tech and I’m majoring in respiratory therapy, As a kid I had to go to a respiratory therapist because I have bad asthma ever since then I decided I wanted to become the same help that helped me when I was younger

Experience

I used to work at a group home and I would tutor the kids when they came home from school on different types of subjects, I am also a substitute teacher and would tutor kids with math or science when they needed aide

Approach

Growing up and being the oldest in the house I didn’t receive any help or guidance when it came to doing homework which was a challenge for me I had to do everything alone but luckily I graduated with my honors diploma and got on the dean list while in college, I want to be able to help students who need help since I wasn’t able to get it assistance I would like to give back and help as much as I can
