I love sailing and skiing and anything involving the outdoors. I am from Connecticut and am the oldest of four and have a five year old brother with Down Syndrome. I love history even though I am studying engineering.
About Me
I am a sophomore Engineering major at maryland">Loyola University Maryland. I am a contracted ROTC Scholarship Cadet. After college I hope to commission into the US Army's Engineering Branch.
Experience
As a member of the National Honor Society I tutored students while in high school. I have worked most of my summers as a Sailing Instructor. As a sailing instructor I had many hours working with children and teaching them.
Approach
As a maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor I try to show a the student how to answer the question without doing it for them. I let them work the problem themselves while I guide them towards the correct solution. I also show them different approaches and ways to look at a problem that may help them with future problems.
