About Me

Hello! I am a computer engineer at Penn State, set to graduate in May. In high school, I was in accelerated math and was able to do a dual enrollment program where I was fully enrolled in college courses during my junior and senior years of high school. This has allowed me to graduate a year early and nurtured my love for math and engineering. I completed all of calculus before I was 18 and loved every minute! By the time I graduated high school, I had all the math credits I needed for my major.

Experience

From a young age, I loved helping my friends learn math and improve in our classes. As I got older this love never dwindled, and eventually, I became a teaching assistant for Calculus 3 in my first year of college. I loved the experience, and now I'd like to use it to help high schoolers find their love for math.

Approach

I've always felt that a student who thinks they're bad at math or dislikes it has had previous bad experiences. I'd like to help show them that they are good enough and smart enough to understand with the right teacher who can help them by talking them through problems so they can develop their understanding of a problem and method instead of memorizing the steps.
